Protecting people from violence, coercion, and abuse — and safeguarding them from harm by those meant to help — is a central obligation of humanitarian action. This advanced program equips practitioners to lead protection programming and to embed protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) across operations.

Designed for an international audience, the course integrates the centrality of protection, protection mainstreaming, the IASC standards, and current PSEAH and safeguarding practice. Participants will gain the technical and leadership capabilities to make protection and safeguarding real across the response.
